The Grainger County School District, comprised of 7 schools and an adult high school, is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Knoxville, Tennessee. The enrollment during 2008-2009 is 3,602 students in grades PK-12. There is 1 primary school, 3 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 K-12 school, and 1 high school serving the communities of Bean Station, Rutledge, Blaine, Thorn Hill, and Washburn. We have 96 pre-school students being served in our schools.
